Two women explain how to have hot period sex

I'm Sulema Vasquez. I'm master core, a performer from Portugal. Currently residing in Berlin, Germany. Now I'm currently living in Berlin. And I'm really happy to be here today. What I enjoy most about being a performer is the opportunity to include diversity on screen and to give a different perspective about pornography and to make it more accessible to people who may have never thought that they would enjoy it or like porn. What I enjoy most about being a performer is that I can combine my living life and give it to the public, my research and my experience. I hope you can feel that. The biggest challenge that I face being a performer is the stigma that come from performing sexual acts. The biggest challenge that I face as a performer is how can I share it in an honest way to the public, all my experience. We still live in a day and age where unfortunately sexuality is highly stigmatized and not to subject that we like to talk openly about. And I feel like if we could include it more in education, in sexual education this wouldn't be as big of a challenge but unfortunately stigma is a big problem that performers are still facing. I wish that people knew that being a performer is a full-time job. There's a lot of intention behind my work. I decided to do pornography because I wanted to see more diversity on screen and behind screen especially when it comes to casting. That I'm living currently like all the time in research, all the time in development as personality and also as a professional. And when I mean diversity, I don't just mean racial diversity. I also mean diversity and body sizes and types and genders and that for me was a huge motivation and priority in doing porn and coming into the sexual work and atmospheres. Some of the benefits of having sex on one's period are it can reduce hands and aches. It can also really help to start a period. I can find different ways about my sexuality, about my boundaries and about my cycle itself. There are also people who don't have any type of penetration during sex on a period and it can still, for example orgasms and literal stimulation can still be very helpful to deal with pain on a period. And even if you aren't having pain on a period, some people find out like I found out myself that some things are just more sensitive. Some areas are more sensitive. So for example, in my personal case, I really love anal sex when I'm on a period. While I'm on my period, my pre-care is more about kind of a meditation about how I am feeling. What I would like to have, like it's more penetration, if it's more soft cases and soft touches and of course hygiene. How I do pre-care on my period, as I really check in with myself to see how I'm feeling and what kind of touch I would like. I also make it hygiene a huge priority. I think a lot of people forget about personal hygiene and a period and hygiene of other partners. So not just your self-care, but making sure your partners have clean fingers and mouth, whatever they're going to be using for the sexual interaction. And the post-care, it's again to go back to myself and to establish a really comfortable zone between me and my partner. For post-care, just like with pre-care, I like to check in with myself, see how I'm feeling and really make sure that whatever sexual act that I'm doing post period sex, I like to reflect and ask myself, did I like that? What could have been better about that experience? How could I feel more comfortable? What do I want not to do next time? What do I want to do more of? It's very important to know that you are a little bit more susceptible to infection risks. So you want to do everything possible to diminish these risks, which just means keeping good hygiene. The tips that I would like to share, it's really like taking care about your body, taking care about what you want and have a really expressive communication between you and your partner. My personal tips for having sex on your period are to find what works best for you and that can change at all times. Sometimes there might be a phase in your life for a few years where you really like literal stimulation while you're on your period and then you may find out that that's not something that is as comfortable anymore. I really challenge people to try new things and to be open that sometimes what we like and what we don't like changes and that's completely normal and that's okay. I think we often can forget that and get stuck doing one thing that may not feel so nice for us anymore and it's okay to change your mind and that's why good communication is always so important, especially when interacting with partners during sex but also not to forget to check in with yourself. How am I feeling? How does this make me feel? Everyone has their own things, their own personality and you should embrace yourself and have an open communication with the world and with yourself and of course with your partners. My last advice I'd like to share is that self-exploration is a long journey and not a short journey and I would like to remind people to think long term and not short term. That means that maybe what you like today you may not like tomorrow and that's perfectly okay to remind others to check in with your body and do what feels and to do what feels right for you.
